WriterconUK here I come!
Busy morning so far in that I have ordered a new iPhone 8 (wooot!). Exciting stuff, but I have to wait until next weekend to play with it and we're away for the weekend so I won't be able to play with it until Sunday *pouts*
I am going by train to writerconuk, and unfortunately as last year (where there was a massive landslide on the line!) there are issues at London Euston station but I'm hopeful they are on a different part of the track that I shall need to travel on. So far the trains to Coventry are still running *crosses fingers*. I have packed everything - I always take too much stuff as I only need a few things really....
Next question I have reached in the Domestic meme is: Garage: favourite mode of transportation? Favourite car? As I live near London I'm lucky to have an excellent local transport system that is not very expensive. Buses around here are very frequent and cheap too. I like walking (as long as it's not raining) and I enjoy train travel (as long as there aren't problems). Nothing nicer than looking out the window at the local scenery and being able to stretch your legs when you want to. On longer jouneys you can also get fed.
Favourite car is easy- we bought our first Smart car a good few years ago now (I can't remember how many, but I think it was around 2007!) and I loved it. So practical as a small car as the back still allowed a lot of storage for shopping etc and the first one we had (see icon) had a turbo charger so it was ridiculously fast for a tiny car. The first one was my favourite of the three we have had - it was peppy and there were loads of extra little gizmos you could have for it which was fun.
