My grandma Rose Helen passed away early this morning. She was ready to go and she didn't seem to suffer. Last night, my parents and I spent a family dinner by her bedside, holding her hands, and watching a little TV. She couldn't add to the conversation, but she didn't need to. WOW!! A group of anonomous donors in my hometown (Kalamazoo) have promised to pay 65% to 100% of the college tuition of every public high school graduate from the class of 2006 for at least 13 years. I had planned to take a road trip to see Lauren for my birthday weekend. I would leave directly from work on Friday and spend that night with Bologna at his family's house in NJ. My grandma Rose Helen turned 90 years old last week. Along with many relatives and friends, I flew home to Kalamazoo for a weekend of birthday festivities.
