I can't figure out what the hell has been up with our internet because half the time it's not letting me on DW, LJ or my email but other websites will load just fine. (neighbors aren't having any problems) It'll be wonko for about thirty minutes and then everything will load fine for a little bit and then stop working again ( Read more... )

Been without for the last couple days (and going bloody insane in the process), and I have about fifty emails to catch up on in one of my emails alone. It actually came on for a few minutes yesterday and I couldn't get into my email because the connection was almost as bad as dial up. cable repairman came by after searching for where the outtage is and said that a contruction site down the road is where it's at. they'd apparently piled a bunch of dirt on top of the pipes and snapped them, so now they're currently trying to dig out the ton of dirt and then they'll replace the pipes. i'd mentioned the bit about figuring it was ( Read more... )

Our internet and cable went out suddenly and won't be fixed until tomorrow (they did originally say freaking Wednesday). WTF?! *twitch* According to BrightHouse there are "143 modems out but we don't see a major problem causing it". My nephew K constantly wastes milk by getting a big bowl for his cereal and pouring enough milk for three more bowls in it. And then doesn't even drink the milk afterward.
