This poll plays into my quandary with a plot bunny I'd posted yesterday. princessofg mentioned the Midway gate system and that gave me an idea but I'm split on whether the SGC would shut down Atlantis' gate so it doesn't dominate the one under the mountain or just use Atlantis' gate for sending out teams until Atlantis is due to go home.

I know I should know better than this, but after winning last year with Venus I'm already thinking of sending a video into the Farscape and Stargate conventions.
