Today was good. I went out to lunch and did some Christmas shopping with my dad, which was fun. Then I went to see J and C and their new(ish) baby--he's five months old, and already has six teeth, weighs over twenty pounds, and is wearing twelve-month clothes. But oh my goodness, is he adorable! The grin on that kid... he's going to be a heartbreaker!
And it's snowing! Enough that I had to scrape off my car, and enough that I almost slid right through the intersection of Palatine and Algonquin Roads, even though I was only going about 20mph to begin with and had slowed down significantly to make the turn. I love the snow, but I will be glad when I'm back in California and done with it for another year. *g*
