Page 09: We noted this last chapter, and we'll note again: "yume wo miru" is literally to see a dream. The Japanese SEE dreams instead of HAVING them.
Page 11: The middle panel of Setzer is drawn in a different art-style: Amano Shiro's little tribute to Amano Yoshitaka, the principal Final Fantasy art designer before Nomura. Setzer is one of his designs, and both Nomura and Amano Shiro seem to think very highly of Amano Yoshitaka's work.
Page 12: Hayner's line here is a little fudged. The verb "maitoku" isn't available anywhere we searched for a general definition. However, generally speaking, "maku" is the verb you would use to wear a belt, and "maitoku" is related to that.
Page 16: The ice cream appears to be brand Atari ice cream, for... no reason?
Page 18: This is the first and only time so far in the manga where anyone has used a suffix on someone's personal name. This also applies to the video game: there are no -chans and -kuns, etc in Kingdom Hearts. When suffixes do appear, we'll be sure to show you.
Page 18+: Selphie is also the only character so far who's shown any sign of having a non-standard dialect -- she speaks with a distinctly odd pronunciation. Her dialect is Kansai-ben, which is generally considered to be a comedic way of speaking. Rather fitting for her, really.
