Lots of personal crap happening this year.

I got married, I'm losing weight on purpose, I'm re-joining all the forums and sites I was missing.

I'd like to get back into cosplay, learn Japanese finally, and keep improving my cooking skills.

Good times have been had so far.

This was a lovely romp, we did the Ember Island Players' Panel of Korra, a funny and oversimplified version of the first season of Legend of Korra. Basically like the Ember Island play from the original A:tLA.

Here is my short list of cosmetic favorites for cosplay.
Witch Hazel: This natural astringent can be found at any drugstore for under $5. Swipe it on with a cotton pad to reduce redness and stop bleeding and irritation. Not to mention, it's a great refresher at any point during the con!

I love it when Izaya cosplayers have cleavage. Because that v-neck totally shows it off. XD

I just got back from AnimeIowa last weekend, and one thing I started
to do differently in taking photos of cosplayers is ask for a closeup.
Most people say yes! I just think that cosplayers can be
really attractive, or they have made an extra effort/expenditure in getting colored contacts
or doing fancy makeup/scarring. So! I think I'll make this a

At some point, I either want to see or do really good Wolf's Rain cosplay XD

If I ever lost my butt and got absurdly tan, I'd want to be Tsume.

I need to cosplay grumpier characters.  They're too much fun to pass up.

Okay, so I just randomly remembered how much I absolutely ADORE the series Witch Hunter Robin, and I really want to cosplay someone from that series.  I'd say Robin Sena herself, but honestly, I'd rather own her outfit.  And then have different darkly colored dresses (burgundy, plum, cadet blue) instead of just the gunmetal color.
