I was a little dissapointed when we went letterboxing to see how many people used store bought stamps. But I doubt you could have convinced them that they could actually make a stamp themselves.
What kind of paper did you use for the notecards, is it cardstock? (you might want to add that to the description too)

I actually started making stamps last winter, but couldn't find artist blocks easily. I was using art erasers, and they definately don't work too well. Luckily my Joanns started carrying artist blocks, now I'm addicted. I made a mushroom stamp last night and 2 sets of cards (I'll post later today). I'm getting better at techniques at cutting them. It's fun and relaxing.
I used pre-made notecards, but I didn't even thin about adding that in the description, thanks!

Oooh! I'm excited about the ambigrams! I think what you suggested is good. Let's do 8x10 and no "and" on Larry/Nancy, but do it on the other 2. Yay!

your drawings are good. i really have no kind of talent with drawing and painting (other than abstract lol). i wish i did. i was thinking about getting some painting supplies...
rubber stamps? thats neat. how do you do that?

For the stamps I used an artist block. I draw my image on (It helps to draw it on paper with pencil then rub it on the block). Then I used exacto knives to cut away.
