Ok, I continue to have too many projects going on at once. But here some things that I've actually finished recently!
My mom just had her birthday. My sister, brother, and I bought my mom a shiny new camera. Of course I had to make a nifty case. I decided to use some of the kool-aid dyed yarn I had left over (look familiar Heather?) and knit a small case. I basically used a case from Stitch n Bitch.
Last week for writing I had the students draw a picture, then, since we are studying Word Choice, write a description/directions for their drawing. Then the classes switched and drew from directions, then we compared. I decided to use the Crayola Chalk (super bright colors) on black paper. They LOVED it! And so did I. I made 2 drawings as "examples," but mostly I wanted to draw with the kids. The first was of a kitty design I came up with a year or two ago (I still have yet to make things beside 1 shirt with this design). Usually the kitty is a basic line drawing. This is the first time in color.
I was aching to draw more so I came up with a robot:
I liked the robot so much I made a handcarved stamp! I made a card for my mom (pictured) and then also made some different ones that are for sale in my shop. I also made a *sqwerty* logo stamp. Me likey my stamps!
I did clean up the sides on the card.
The other cards I made . . .
