My sister, nephew, and I headed to Schnepf farms to pick the last of peaches as well some plums. I'm not a fan of mushy fruit, I prefer them still firm. I had gone out of town for a few days and didn't get to the peaches until I returned, and by then they were still good, just getting a bit soft. Besides, I had about half a dozen and wasn't going to be able to eat them all in a couple of sittings.
I searched for some raw recipe to use, and was skeptical about a raw cobbler, but after making these I wish I had picked even more peaches.
Found on
The Sunny Raw Kitchen and recipe from
Raw Freedom Community.
I didn't put as much topping on, and I was impatient and didn't blend/process it as much as I should have, but it was still amazingly delicious.
And here is my nephew eating some of our pickings, right off the tree!
