More Garden Goodness
I continue to harvest fresh goodness from my garden, even though the dry heat is threatening to burn the plants to a crisp. Recently I've had some cucumbers, a watermelon, tomatoes, banana peppers, and eggplant. Today I harvested most of the butternut squash . . . which was eight! I still have a couple on the vine, and the vine seems to be continuing to produce more leaves and flowers, so I may get even more if I am so lucky. It's a good thing I like butternut squash, and that they store for quite some time.
