Someone I follow on facebook said that they were going to try to blog every day in April as part of this group that has declared April national blogging month. Don't know much about it, but I did find this website
http://www.nablopomo.com/.
Anywho, I have had a renewed interest in blogging on livejournal lately. I think I have been updating about once a week. I know a lot of people have jumped ship here and have gone on to other websites or have stopped blogging all together. I know for me, I have never been a huge blogger to begin with. In fact, I never have been even the type to keep a diary or paper journal. I started livejournal once I started dating Steve, because he was on here. I am glad I started it though. It is kind of fun to revisit old entries, and also get input from other people on some of questions or problems I write about in here. I think the one disadvantage of having a journal online though is that I feel like I have to have something "interesting" to say in order to write in it. A lot of people (when livejournal was more popular) would often complain about the topics that other people write about, or people are self-depricating because they think the things they have to say won't interest any of their readers. I guess some blogs are made for high traffic and need to have interesting content in order to gain a following. Although lets be honest, I am not really going for that-so I shouldn't feel limited to write in this thing.
So anyway, I am going to try to write in this thing every day this month and probably won't have much to say most of the days-but who cares? Maybe I will improve my writing skills some. At the very least I will be able to look back on this a year later and remember how I went to work every day and complained about it, watched tv, and remarked about the weather ;) I must say that having stability in my life is a good thing. I definitely don't need too many "interesting" things to happen to me.
