Interviews picking up

I had two job interviews this week, one lead to scheduling a face-to-face interview for Monday. The job sounds pretty decent, and a permanent position is always welcome-so we will see how things go on Monday.
The other position is the one I talked about earlier, that is more of a consultant role and the work is not that steady. I am not sure where I stand on that. The pay is good, but I would like more stability and a chance for growth, which this job doesn't exactly offer.
For you Sookie Stackhouse fans, I just saw that the first chapter of the next Sookie book is on Charlaine Harris' website. I can't believe she is cranking out another book for May. I haven't seen the second season of Trueblood yet, but I have heard that it took a big deviation from the books. Still, I love Alexander Skarsgard, and as long as they keep the Eric character relatively the same, I will be happy (mostly). Having the next book come out this year is something to look forward to. I have tried starting a couple of other series, and I haven't really gotten in to any of them. I found a horror book today that looked interesting. If Stephen King and Guillermo Del Torro are singing it's praises, how bad can it be?
Steve had a hard week, so today has been all about kicking it hardcore. We are almost done with season 2 of "Lost", so still a long way to go on that. There are a couple of characters on this show that I can do with out already. Overall, still liking it. Oh-guess we are going to wrap up the season now!
