I did watch some of the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet, which I prefer much more than the Super Bowl. Especially this year because they had a Cavalier King Charles in the starting line up! Although a chihuahua/pug mix was giving the Cav a run for it's money on cuteness.
This week has been so so. Last week I went in for a second interview for a position, but I never heard back. I thought that was pretty rude! At least tell me that you went with someone else. I'm a big girl and I can take it. Another job I applied to (a government job) did contact me and told me I qualified to be in their eligibility pool and had two open positions in the office that is close to where I live. I had to answer a few questions, and based on those answers they will let me know if I will continue in their hiring process. Haven't heard anything yet, but I am keeping my fingers crossed.
Not much else has really been going on over here. Steve has been under a lot of stress lately and we have just been tryng to keep things low-key. Last weekend my was my step-dad's birthday so we spent time with the family. This weekend we just did errands and have been watching movies. We watched "Dance Flick" and "Adventureland", both of which were not very good. I have "Dragonball Evolution" waiting in the wings, so I think we might have a bad movie trifecta on our hands. :)
I haven't really been watching "Lost" either. I have heard that the third season is hard to get through, and I am a few episodes in and I find myself not caring as much to keep going. Although, I want to keep with it, so I will keep watching, just not moving at the fast pace I once was.
I am starting the second book in the Percy Jackson series. I am not sure if the series is as popular as Harry Potter, but the first book was decent and the movie looks pretty good, so I am curious to see where the series goes. Plus it reminds me of the show "Hercules", which I loved. I never watched "Xena" which I know a lot of people prefer. I guess I should check that out too sometime. I really need to read some adult literature though. Last time I was unemployed I read so many books. Ineed to find a new author or series that I will enjoy reading.
I shouldn't try to update while I am watching tv. I think it took me an hour to type this.
