Doctor Who doll clothes finished!

As I have mentioned briefly in this journal, I fell in love with Sarah Jane's Andy Pandy outfit from The Hand of Fear. Originally I thought of making such bib-alls for myself, but I got a bit scared, seeing how a) I haven't sewn clothes in ages, b) I'm still not entirely friendly with my sewing machine, and c) the material would cost me quite a bit (especially if I made mistakes).

So I thought I'd do a Waldorf doll instead. But as it turns out, material for a Waldorf doll is pretty pricey and hard to come by. Plus, the book on Waldorf dolls I borrowed ranted at such length about how inferior plastic dolls were, that I became offended on behalf of my beloved plastic dolls.

In the end, I made the Sarah Jane outfit to fit my Sindy doll Sonja (whom I have mentioned before).

The end result has been posted to crafty_tardis:
