fan stuff for tsunami victims + absence report
thebratqueen suggested that the dormant community I host, fandom_charity, should be put to use for the tsunami/earthquake victims. Simply put, it's an exchange of fanfic, fanart or anything else we can create for donations. One person makes a wish, another fulfils it, and the first person pays money to a charity organisation (I know Red Cross collects, and I'm sure there are many others.)
As always, if you have another cause you find worthy, the community can be used for that as well.
Sadly, I won't be able to supervise what's going on much, since I've just moved to a new apartment and Internet won't be installed there for another week. I may be able to log on just a little before then, but it certainly won't be with any regularity. I do still have my computer, so maybe there'll be a new fic once I'm back online, you never know...
