Last night I had a dream.
I was walking to my dads store only it was not really his store it was much bigger and in a huge field. I was visiting him for some reason or other. It was a warm day with green grass and trees all around and so I decided to go into the backyard of the store. I was walking out there and suddenly I saw something go bounding over the tall grass to bark at a bird. It was Bear, of course, his ears flapping and the sun shining on his black and cinnamon coat. I called to him and he turned around and ran to me with his smiling eyes and big open mouth grin. I asked my dad how he had gotten there from the vets office, and dad just said he found
Bear walking along the road headed determinedly home. Somehow Bear had houdinied his way out of heaven and was going home.
It is funny how sometimes a dream can be so real that when you wake up it takes a while to realize that it was a dream. I don't often remember my dreams but some of them I never can forget. The one that I used to have growing up that was a recurring dream. Nightmare actually. I was in a square room or box and there was no way out. The other variations involved a big balloon, or sometimes a potatoe, that would expand in size until I was crushed against the wall/floor/ceiling trying to escape it. Then there was the one where I was trying to save a baby that had been abandoned and it tried to rip out my throat with its really sharp scary teeth.
Those are dreams that I was really glad were not reality. This dream with Bear though, I cried when I realized it was not real and that he did not cheat death and come back to me in the prime of his life.
Besides all that things seem to be wonderful. Job is good, even if all hospital credentialers who are supposed to help me staff the pediatriac department really only want dead babies. Because they all seem to actively strive to make my life as hard as they possibly can. Ah well I guess I have to have some kind of dragon to go out and slay.
Joined 24 hour fitness, now just have to go. Found a wonderful store that has soooo many kitchen things, Spoons N Spice. Such a wonderful place.
Nothing else to say tonight, and my head kinda hurts. Good night for now.
what do you mean "look at his head?!"
