Hand in Glove by miss_morland (Dudley/Goyle, NC-17) Dudley meets Goyle at his boxing club and they become friends and something more. Dudley is wonderfully hesitant and confused, Goyle's struggles are perfectly shown, plus featuring interfering!parents and a great Harry cameo. Mmm... yummy boxing boys!
Anyone Can Play Guitar by paddynmoon (Dudley/Dennis Creevey, NC-17) Dudley's in a band and Harry recommends Dennis Creevey when they need a new bass player. Dudley is still in the closet and wanting out, Piers is a jerk, and Dennis is so wonderfully cute and enthusiastic and joyful about life-- he's the perfect complement to Dudley here. One of those rare pairs you NEVER would have thought of, but once you've read this you'll be completely sold!
The Office of OTPs by anonymous (Dudley/Cho but mainly CRACK!FIC, R) Oh my goodness, this is crack!fic at its finest! Dudley and Cho work together to categorize and file and organize all the fanfiction out there. It's basically just a huge equal-opportunity mock-fest, poking fun at all of our ridiculous obsessions and kinks and pairings and pairing nicknames and oh my word, it's LAUGH OUT LOUD funny. You'll hurt your ribs laughing, but it's SO worth it.
Best Laid Plans by eruditefics (Dudley/Lavender, NC-17) I adore post-war, scarred and hurting but not broken Lavender and this fic captures her soooooooo well. She's left the wizarding world and is working as a waitress at a high-end restaurant, always wearing a glamor. She meets Dudley, who is so wonderfully endearing and lovable here. They fall in love but she's keeping her magic and her scars a secret. Beautiful, heartbreaking, and ultimately a happy ending. Such a great read. Lavender's just wonderful here-- strong, brave, vulnerable, scared, determined, bubbly, and exactly the grown up Gryffindor I would expect.
