What must these people think of the world they seperate themselves from? Think about it from their point of view. This kind of thing just doesn't happen in their world. No wonder they choose a different existance. Those of us fully engaged in the "modern" world are so tense, so stressed out, so high, so desensitized, so violent...we're like beasts compared to the Amish.
