Really. If it works for old people, why not for me? I'm past my prime, really. Gone is the vigor and energy and optimism of five months ago! I mean, I just can't keep it up!
It was all fun and games when somebody else's mom spooked the bejesus out of me in the middle of the night. Or when we were surely being watched by people who were established-as-being-dick-neighbors. It wasn't that big of a deal when my neighbor called the cops on my brother, turning my neighborhood into the Korean DMZ. But then Bill Morrison scared the bejesus out of me. Three times in one week. Then I had to talk to that cop. Then I actually got fucking frisked! And now I got robbed.
I mean, come on! I've got gray hairs for christ's sake.
