Hit and Run....
Just a quick update for those that might not already know, Nicholas Alexander Harrison arrived on June 22, 2005 at 10:49am. He weighed in at 8lbs. 4 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long. He was delievered via c-section and I am almost fully recovered (since it's been just over a month.)
Things are kinda crazy around here as evidenced by the fact that I've had my computer on a grand total of 3 times since he got here. You can see pics of Nicholas at http://www.meatpie.org/gallery . He's too cute for words, but I'm prejudiced. So go see for yourself.
The whole breastfeeding thing didn't go as well as I'd hoped and he's being supplemented by formula. I just don't make enough for him and since I smoke cigarettes, I'm probably going to stop breastfeeding completely soon, so he's not getting the nicotine anymore. Please don't harass me about the smoking vs. breastfeeding thing as I really don't want to deal with any more guilt right now.
Thanks to all of you that have wished us well with the congrats and all. I'm sorry if I have missed anything important going on in your lives and would appreciate being pointed to any important (even if its just to you) journal entries so I can try to get caught up with all my friends.
