Shook me all night long. I Feel the Earth Move... And that's only a few of the songs a local radion station has been playing in the aftermath of a 5.5 on the richter scale earthquake in our area this afternoon. It had to be the wildest one I've ever experienced in my lifetime and lasted at least 10 full seconds.

Scientific studies aside, having observed animals my entire lifetime, domestic pets, wildlife, in particular birds - I would say yes they are capable of regret. And others just like humans, incapable.

A few days ago, while walking to my car in the city after work, I spotted something fall from the sky just in front of me. As I approached I saw that it was a little Blue Jay.
