I hope everyone had as pleasant and safe a Christmas as possible. I hesitate to say it but we rather enjoyed our peaceful Christmas. We did miss seeing family members but it was rather luxurious to just suit ourselves. We seem to have spent most of today having lunch with our friends D & K. We were all celebrating having known each other for 40 years (!!) so went somewhere special that we last visited for J's birthday two years ago. We went to a fish restaurant in Wapping which is not exactly on our doorstep but much easier to get to now on the London Overground ( Read more... )
