Spring? (Day 362 since Lockdown 1, Day 75 of Lockdown 3)
It is a very dull, grey day here today but yesterday was gloriously sunny. We managed to vary our walking route a bit and find a new (very muddy) path, which is part of the Vanguard Way. I've seen the signs for the Vanguard Way quite often but never realised quite what it was as I thought it was something to do with the old airport. Duh! We thought we might walk a bit more of it, though making it to the coast is obviously not possible at the moment.
The only other thing of any note this week is me having to give telephone reassurance to Rex (adopted old gent) about his poetry column for his church magazine. He had written something not exactly polite about Donald Trump and wondered if it was appropriate for a church magazine. I said if people objected it could spark debate as he doesn't get much feedback for his poetry column. Rex certainly believes in keeping his mind active.
As it is the first day of spring here are some crocuses in celebration. They are the first layer in a "bulb lasagna" which, so far, seems to be working, much to my surprise.

Reading. I can get lost in a book which is a very useful ability to have at the moment.

I always used Macleans until a couple of years ago when my teeth were a bit sensitive and I switched to Sensodyne, which I've been using ever since.
20. What is something you really wanted as a child?
A rocking horse. I really wanted one on a stand and they cost enormous sums of money so I never got one. It was probably very good for me not to get what I wanted and I made a pretend one instead.
