A grey day (Day 260 since Lockdown 1)
It is quite foggy here today which is making it seem particularly grey and gloomy so I will just crack on with the meme.
4. What was the last live performance or concert you attended?
It was in Wimbledon on March 12th this year when we went to the theatre there to see Matthew Bourne's version of the The Red Shoes. The date is engraved on my memory as it is the last time we went out and even then it was starting to feel very risky. I think I'm right in saying that the BBC are going to show this version of The Red Shoes at Christmas as it was recorded when it was performed at Sadler's Wells last December, where we saw it the first time. It will be lovely to see it again and remember what it was like to go to a live performance.
5. What is the most offensive thing a person could say to you?
It's either that I voted for Brexit or that I gave them food poisoning.
6 Do you take compliments or praise well?
No. I usually presume that the person doesn't mean it. My standard reaction to someone saying I look well is to assume they mean I look fat.
7. Who was your first teeny-bopper celebrity crush? Did you have posters on your wall? Did you ever see them in concert or meet them in person? (Pictures, please! Gotta have that pin-up poster on the wall.)
It was a long time ago but I think the first real crush I had was for Illya Kuryakin as played by David McCallum. Whether that counts as a teeny-bopper celebrity crush I don't know. I've always been more attracted to characters than the actors that play them but Illya was very pretty. See here.
