So this is Lockdown Day 70

Our lockdown is being gradually relaxed but I'm still sticking mostly to it. We just spoke to our friends in Bournemouth and apparently the trains going down there have been so busy the train company put on extra trains. I don't know if these are trains with social distancing in place but judging from the pictures of Bournemouth beach I suspect not

Painting with watercolours is fun - you ought to just go for it, there are loads of online tutorials for different techniques.

As I was typing about painting with watercolours I thought why don't I try it :)

I'm sure I'm not the first to come up with "Demonic" Cummings. It just seemed to type itself so easily and yes, utterly odious, dangerous and not half so clever as he thinks he is if he thinks people are stupid enough to believe him. Grrrr....

Did you see the pictures from Durdle Door after those people got injured? There was one showing the rescue helicopter on the beach with a couple of hundred people all watching, crowded together so tightly you couldn't have got a sheet of paper between them.

I saw them. What I can't understand is why what looks like half the country decided to visit Durdle Door, let alone jump off it. I've been there and it's not particularly easy to get to. I can understand why everyone flocked to Bournemouth as it has an enormous beach and is easily accessible, but the Lulworth area really isn't.

If I were back in the UK, the last place I'd go was the beach. But even here, lots of people are going and without masks, too. Sigh.

I'd like to be able to easily learn foreign languages. Alas, I'm terrible at it.

I'd love to be able to easily learn foreign languages too. I can remember the words but the grammar just eludes me.

I don't think I shall be going to the beach any time soon, no matter how much I might want to.
