Lost and found
My banner went walkabout yesterday, but thanks to kazzy_cee's amazingly efficient flist I have now got it back up again. All this mucking about with the code inspired me to change my layout and add a few things to it for which thanks to jape_answers. How long will it stay like this I wonder?
My parents came round on Tuesday night before heading to Spain so I was expecting to wake up yesterday morning with a hangover. Instead I woke up with a cold which pissed me off rather as I hadn't had a cold for two years and now have had two in two months. Grr...
Fortunately I went up to London yesterday evening to meet queenofthorns so that took my mind off my blocked sinuses. After a quick farewell to her favourite paintings in the National Gallery we went off for an Indian meal at our usual Indian restaurant. This was a) very nice and b) cleared my blocked sinuses. Thanks to queenofthorns for a lovely evening and an instant cold cure *g*.
Finally some fic recs: anybody that isn't reading calove's wonderful take on the Five Stages of Grief Spike and Buffy style definitely should be. Another of my favourite writers anaross has started a new story My Life Closed Twice (probably Spuffy, though at the moment I'm not entirely sure), which is upping the angst nicely at the moment *g*. Just to prove I don't only read Spuffy ljs is posting a wonderful Ganya fic In The Darkest Place at gilesanya_fic with plot, characterisation and Hitchcock homage. What more could anyone want? And finally: anyone for a threesome? femmenerd is writing a really hot little series of S/B/A starting with The Non-Mutual-Exclusivity of Perversion and Love and continuing in Together Again for the First Time. A third part is promised and I can't wait. If BtVS/AtS hadn't ended where they did it would have been quite interesting to see if Joss dared to go the S/B/A route because it looked to me as if that would have been a rather neat resolution to the 'ship dilemma *g*.
Oops, enough procrastination. Must go and *do* something.
