Where It Ends

My hand rests on your chest

It's warm with your heartbeat

Your hand is somewhere in my hair

This is where our souls meet

I have just one day with you

And in it I'd give the world to you

My eyes rest in yours

You look so peaceful

You take my hand in yours

You hold me close

You kiss me deeply

You show me heaven

My head rests on your shoulder
We watch the breathing leaves

I grip your knee with my knuckles turning white

I think I'm going to die tonight

I feel my heart pounding out of my chest

It keeps stopping
