so nice to wake up to...
For a minute this morning I thought I was in a scene from Ice Station Zebra ...the only thing missing was the conning tower of the submarine. The forecast last night was for snow starting at around 7:00pm and ending sometime early in the morning. Unfortunately for our area, the storm didn't get that message and decided to start around 9:00pm and was still going strong at 9:am when I got out of bed. Add in a lot of blowing and drifting and you get a real mess. I like winter, the pretty white snow and the snowmen that people build, but I'm over it now. I'm ready for spring...or at least a little less of winter!
