This bird has flown.

We have an empty nest again...a pair of robins built one on the support bracket for the basketball goal that's next to our driveway. Three babies, hungry ones,Mom and Dad spent most of their time flying back and forth with big, fat worms for them.

But we finally figured out why we never see 'baby' robins...for one thing, they grow incredibly fast, so by the time they are ready to leave the nest, they're almost as big as their parents. The only difference we spotted was that their 'breasts' are mottled, not completely red-orange like Mom and Dad. But it was fun to watch them feed, their little heads popping up and down like a game of 'Whack-a-mole'.
