I'm glad I only paid extra to go to CMC's 3-day BNE review session, rather than flying to SF or something, bc although I thought he was fabulous 2 years ago, this year, not so much. I don't know if he's just tired and having an off week/year or if my additional studying this year means I see his flaws, but yeah. ( rant, and how studying is going in general )

1. I've started watching tv shows primarily so I can read the TWOP recaps. eep!
   
2. There are days when being female seems over-rated. Today is so one of them - I'm depressed AND doubled-over in pain AND my body thought I needed to wake up early so I could experience more of that. How is this evolutionarily sound?

There were some amazing moments this weekend. Sat, I got dressed up for the American Alpine Club chapter dinner. For once the event was better than the dressing. I've never been in a room with so many women with such buff arms, let alone in evening gowns. Got a lot of compliments on my dress. There was a presentation by the guy who found ( Read more... )

Bleh. Just discovered that tonight's party is a costume party. Guess who totally does not have a costume. Or enough brain cells to acquire one at this juncture.
