I miss my bed.

So things here are going pretty good. Had the first few days of camp, which were busy and hectic but also pretty fun. Friday I worked registration for the kids area, then tried to get people to donate to a charity then I got to work autograph session. Robbie Gould, Desmond Clark, Nathan Vasser and Mark Anderson were a few of the bigger names signing that day. I am no officially obssessed with Robbie Gould. He was so cute with all the little kids. I stayed in Friday night b/c we had to be at work at 7am yesterday. I went to bed at like 10:30 thinking I'd catch up on some sleep, boy was I wrong.

This bed is seriously like sleeping on pieces of plywood. I'm almost positive the mattress is as old as I am. So I tossed and turned and only got about 3 hrs of sleep to work a 7:30am-8pm work day (with a couple hour break in the middle) I tried to lay down during our break, but you know me and naps...that didn't help at all. Yesterday morning I had to work the kids area, then at night I had to work giveaways...but he decided to cut us early around 8pm and said we could change and watch the end of practice which went till 9pm. Once I heard that I hauled ass back to my dorm, switched shirts and grabbed my camera. It was so cool taking pics of football b/c I never have before. I havent been able to look at the pics yet, but I'm excited. Also, my boss said one of these days he'll get me on the field so I can take closer shots...SWEET.

I get such a rush from taking sports pictures. It's like a challenge with I focus at the right time, click the shutter right before the action to get the shot. Sometimes I wonder if I should really go into sports photography. I just need to find a way to do it without going through a newspaper.

Last night we went out again. The kids that we go out with like to party hard. Unfortunately Cindy, our bartender wasnt there so we had to pay for the pitchers of beer. But then as I'm looking around the bar...across a few tables over Brian Urlacher is sitting there with Jim Miller. Then later on Olin Kruetz walked past me as him and some of the linebackers were walking out. I really wanted to go  up to Urlacher and get a picture, but I also feel bad for the guy. I feel rude buggin him to get a picture when he's just trying to have a few beers with friends. Apparently he's much nicer than most people think he is. He was signing autographs last night and taking pics with people, but still I felt rude going up to him.

Oh well, now I'm up debating if I should drive home tonight after work just to sleep in a decent bed and catch up on sleep. Or I might run to the mall to get a mattress pad for this piece of crap. I can't complain though, I mean they're paying for me live here and feeding me so despite the crappy bed and gross shower...I'm getting a good deal.
