Working outside every day is exhausting.
So after a brief hiatus from the internet here at Olivet Nazarene University...I now have a password and I'm not stealing their internet anymore. thank gosh, b/c those couple days without internet here were tough. I'm so completely dependent on the internet, it's disgusting.
So things here are going well. Tuesday night my boss let me on the field to take pics it was pretty much the most amazing thing ever. Football is very difficult to shoot, I've learned. it was good to try out none the less.
It's weird though, I basically spend every waking minute with the same group of people. We all live together, eat our meals together and work together. It's a little much for me, not going to lie. Everyone's really cool but I have noticed myself needing quite a bit of alone time and I think that's due to the fact that its all the same people everyday. we do have a lot of fun together now that we've gotten to know each other and have bonded a little. Last night was purely hilarious. We were going to go mini golfing but they were closing as we go there. Instead we played backyard games like bags, ladder golf and bacci ball in front of the guys dorm. Then like 12 of us went cosmic bowling for $1 shoes, $1 games and thats right, $1 draft beer...also $4 pitchers of beer. And not crappy beast ...we were drinking 312. It was pretty awesome. We ended up going to Steak n shake after for some drunk food and bonded even more by the stories ppl were telling. Good times. except when we were about to leave the bowling alley, in the same 5 seconds I spilled half my beer on my pants and dropped my camera and broke it. The lens no longer goes back in which means, I'll be buying a new digital camera in the near future. I was so angry.
For anyone's amusement I will leave you with some of Olivet's rules if you were a student on campus. Enjoy.
-If a girl is in a guys dorm (or vice versa) the lights need to be on, the door must remain open and everyone's feet must be on the floor.
-If you try searching for porn or gambling websites a pop immediately comes up with a stop sign and apparently then it turns into a scripture telling you why its bad to look at the kind of stuff.
-no smoking or drinking anywhere on campus
- you must either live in the dorms or live at home with your parents. They don't have off campus housing like we're used to.
Those are just a few of the rules, I found quite humorous. As much as Bradley was lame as the years went on...we never had rules like this.
