The Marriage of Positive and Thinking

Hey Y'all,

Ma McKean is in town for like, 11 days (not all of which she'll be staying in my tiny apartment, phew) (), so you guys probably won't be seeing much of me for a while. I do plan to sneak away for Sara's bday shin-dig, though because 1: Sara + Bday = awesome and 2. my mom doesn't drink so neither will I for 11 days. That's just the way it is. Fun!

As is tradition when a 'rent is in town, we'll be seeing just about every musuem and attraction we can cram in including: the Brooklyn museum, the Bk Botanical Gardens, Prospoect Park, the Frick, the Whitney, the Met, MoMA, and the Transit Museum. Mom has vetoed the Guggenheim and the Tenement museum. Oh, and I think she's going to teach me how to sew. Oh, and my sister is coming along for a bunch of this next week. Oh, and I have to actually go to work a day or two next week. (I know, shocking.) All I can say is phew.

I saw The Marraige of Bette and Boo with TONY Brian last night. It was HIL-larious. You konw what's extra funny about it? Alcoholism, Catholic guilt, and stillborn babies represented by sacks of rice and chucked midstage from the wings. I kid you not about that last part. And I kid you not about it being funny the 2nd-4th times it's done. It's a very dark comedy about the hell that is your family, but there's a ton of laughs in it, of course to keep you from cyring. And the head stewardess from Airplane! is in it. Awesome.

Lastly, Iamnotgettingsick. Iamnotgettingsick. I amnotgetting sick. See what I did there? Why do I only get sick on the weekends?
