Note to Writers and Journalists

 "[Enter appropriate phrase here] gets 2 billion hits on Google." is the new "Webster's Dictionary defines [Enter appropriate phrase here] as..." in journalism, folks. As an English Professor, I feel it is completely unacceptable to start any piece of written text with either of these stupid writing crutches.
