today is friday the 13th

Today is Friday the 13th and if you looked outside and with the current health crisis going on it feels like the end of the world. The drive to work wasn’t very bad. There was hardly any traffic to speak of either on the highways or secondary roads.

I ended up not going out last night and went to bed early. I did make some dinner and attempted to use Instacart but that was a royal pain in the ass. As I went to check out there was a message saying they don’t deliver to my address! WTF? That was a total waste of my time. I tried to change it to Shop rite and it wouldn’t let me. It was incredibly frustrating and not helpful at all. I don’t think I will be using that service again. I wonder if I can unsubscribe from that service?

I have no choice but to go out in the hysteria to the stores. I have been reading some of the posts on FB and places are emptying out. I must wonder if the grocery stores are fueling it as well. I think I have enough cleaning products, but food wise I know the food I have in the house will not last me two weeks. I believe I read that the stores will be limiting peoples amounts of things.

I had a feeling that Debra had to cancel her plans for the recess. She won’t be in the office today, but she will be in the state. So, we will have a phone session sometimes this weekend.

The Gym is closing their kid’s rooms across the region. We don’t have one in the Milford one. I also have read that it was quiet in the gym this morning. I think the reason I didn’t go is because I wanted to sleep in and wouldn’t be doing any type of exercise.

The host/organizer for the card game must back out of the game tomorrow. Her daughter is sick. I am wondering if I should as well.

Work has been okay. The discussions frequently discussed corona virus and the panic. We still get updates from administration and its basically encouraging those who can work remotely to do so.
