This has been a rather busy week for me
Hey Happy Friday everyone Friday. Things are fine it’s just that every time I came home at night I was not in the mood to write. I would just relax or do a few things before bed.
The lady’s guild was semi successful. We managed to get a new name as Precious Blood Ladies Guild. There were a few heated debates about the by-laws (some wanted only one meeting and others stated it needs two) and many of them were pissing me off because they argued about everything. I was doing exactly what Liz said not to do (mumbling under my breath about a few people). We have another general meeting next Tuesday I think to vote on the by-laws. Going forward I am leery because of the turmoil I am projecting to expect. I hope not.
I had my weekly session with Debra earlier that day and we are going to be changing our days for sessions. I am not happy that I keep Alex waiting when I have to see him on Tuesdays. So after Debra’s vacation at the end of July and beginning of August I am expecting to meet with Debra. Many years ago we did meet on Fridays for a while.
Work has been busy with scanning this week while DG has been doing the mail. She is still messing up on a few things. I even talked about it with Supervisor as well. I don’t know what’s going to happen if anything. Just continue to be patient with her and remind her.
I made a few mistakes in the last couple of days with the scanning but hopefully they were fixed. I have one batch before AC stocks up again. I don’t know how many more are left but I hope it’s not a lot.
Sadly, there have been some more deaths amongst my work family. Supervisor Bob and his brother lost their Uncle last week, and another co-worker who is located in our Patient Services area lost her Mom.
The weather since Tuesday has been beautiful. WE had stormy weather (thunder and lightning) on Tuesday night and that’s supposed to come back over the weekend and again next week.
The cats have been fine. They were eating dinner. They haven’t been sick or anything of that nature. Their birthday is coming up on Monday.
Well My human family is doing. The demolition has begun at my Sister’s house. She was having her infusion yesterday but she wasn’t feeling well. She spent time with family and friends this week. She was going to send me picture of the kitchen but it was not working. She called me at work to tell me about it and the fact she has had melt downs several of them. She thought she would handle the chaos better than her hubby. Guess she was wrong.
Jim is good. Helped out a friend this week by driving him to the doctor’s and spending time with the man’s 90 plus year old mom.
Saw my cousin Dan yesterday at the grocery store and we caught up briefly with each other. His youngest is going to college in the fall. All the way up in New Hampshire.
Tonight is the 4th District meeting. I have to make sure my minutes are ready to be written and read. I hope it will be a quick one because I want to get a lot done this weekend.
