As Always I envisioned today and most of the vacation being busy.
Well if you have been following the blog all week you know it wasn’t necessarily true. At least that’s what I think.
I know I was out of town until Tuesday but a few errands here and there don’t necessarily make it very busy just active. I had a great time with Mom and Liz last night and that’s probably considered busy.
I just didn’t want to spend a lot of time watching TV this week. I do that anyway. I know I could be reading books but we also know my attention span is lacking in that area.
I mean doing laundry every couple of days is a requirement for normal living. Making sure the house is in order is also part of that normal living. Helping out neighbors is what life is about too. Those made me feel like I accomplished something.
The city’s annual St Patrick’s Day parade is this afternoon at 1 or 2. The temperatures are supposed to be warmer than yesterday but I don’t really want to stand in snow banks watching people freeze their behinds off. I know I have done it before but at the same time I feel I should support our town in some way.
Later on I am meeting up with M&R to go to the Military Whisk ‘tourney” at Debbie’s synagogue. That’s always fun. The actual game starts at 7:30.
Right now I am waiting for the laundry to finish in the machines. I didn’t have much today but it will be good to get it out of the way. I won’t have to do it tomorrow.
I am planning on going to the 11:30 mass tomorrow at St Mary’s. Liz is either serving communion or the lectern (reader) for the mass. I am not sure but I want to be there.
Oh I am excited I finally gave her the two bibs I bought at the Big E for the newest babies and she thinks they are cute (even if one isn’t pink) but they have little animals on them. She is going to send one as a care package to Adam & Olga. The other one is going up with them to see Olivia.
