Quality Girls Night In

Sis came over tonight to show us a project she just finished for our cousins in NJ.  She transferred 8 MM family videos of our family from the 1950’s to the 70’s and put them on CDs.    It was apparently quite expensive project but she still wanted to do it.

Anyway,  we just spent almost two hours watching their family movies that also included some of our end of the family (family picnics etc) and of stuff and of people I didn’t know but thought was interesting.

She had one of those Sony portable DVD players.  Mom was curious as to how it worked and what you can do on it so we answered her questions as best as possible.

After the feature film played we talked about Liz’s I-Phone and she showed us some of the APPs she had including the dancing one and we laughed ourselves silly.  It was a lot of fun.

She even showed us pictures of Baby Olivia and all her holiday pictures of the kids especially.    It was all really good.

The only downer was my freaking ankle.  It has been giving me grief and trying to walk down the stairs was a freaking hassle.  It is fine right now but in short while it won’t be its like someone is pulling at it.

I am going to go to bed for now.  I have a fairly quiet morning but later on in the afternoon I am going out with friends and to the Military Whisk game in Middletown.
