Hello everyone! I have relocated to Finland for the festive period. So far it's been nice, cooking and baking and cleaning with mum. Sorting some dad's stuff as usual. S's new baby is here but I can't see her yet because I have a stinking cold and would rather not give it to a newborn

Thanks to verdande_mi for linking this! I haven't laughed as much for a while. Like verdande_mi, I'm not sure how funny this is for non-Nordics but to me it was hilarious! A short stand-up clip about Nordic communication, 90% in English - do check it out! :D:D:D The bit about Finnish mosquitos at the end made me laugh until I cried!

I received a lovely response from Kodin Kuvalehti (see my original feedback here) which actually made me kind of teary, just knowing that they had tried, genuinely tried. If you're in Finland, buy the magazine! Them's good folk as well as producing a good magazine ( Read more... ) -
Magazine Feedback
I’m a big fan of this Finnish magazine and they have featured stories and interviews with lgbt people in the past but the exclusion from this particular story made me rather upset. Possibly due to being hormonal, but I sent the feedback anyway ( Read more... ) -
