So, on Wednesday I got a phone call from one of my friends. Her parents asked her for her 100% submission in everything, and she had to say no (note: she is turning 18 on Sept 11), for a variety of reasons, one of which that her parents totally disagree with her education plans. She wants to get a Ph.D. in English Lit (my fault! :D) and her parents think that it is stupid and that she should pick something 'more marketable'. So she said no. And now she can't eat their food, use their computer, tv, kitchen, car, or phone. Sooo mom and dad and I have been trying to work out a way to get her to move in with us. I am completely strung out. I don't handle stress well, and things happening to my friends? They count as stress. Major stress, actually.
Thursday wasn't too bad, but I did very poorly at karate.
Friday I.... don't remember what I did, but I didn't do too much, and I wasn't too happy about it all.
Saturday? Oh, Saturday was a fun/good day!! See, see, it was belt testing at the dojo! Yay, right? YAY! I passed, by the way. And then after the belt ceremony, we were playing games, and I sliced off a bit of skin from the bottom of my toe. "Ouch", you might say, and you'd be totally right.
On the bottom of my right big toe I'm missing a piece of skin that was a little bigger than the size of a quarter in diameter, and was about 1/6th of an inch thick.
OWIE.
I can't walk. I can't stand. I can't dance. I can't even sit at my computer! (I'm using my little brother's laptop)
So if I seem irritable for the next few days--THERE IS A DAMN GOOD REASON AND KRIFFIT MY FOOT IS THROBBING AGAIN. Hang on, let me ring for an icepack. Well, a new one anyways.
Right. Okay. So I'm laid up and on Vikadin, and frankly? That stuff tastes ghastly. I slept for about... 7 hours, but I was in a bad chair, and I was so uncomfy. I want to move. I want to crack my back. I want to go to class tomorrow!! *wail* Sorry, I'm,... not adjusting well. To make matters worse, I watched the remake of Dirty Dancing last night, and nine of my ten toes were completely in favor of dancing about and prancing. OH!
moonlightrick!!!!!! "Dirty Dancing Harvana Nights" --- Just go look at a picture of the lead guy. I think... um... maybe. I don't know. GO LOOK AT HIM. (Whoever he is, the character he played was called Javier)
Anyways.
I'm going to go try to read ItM! *hopes*
