Rockery - part II
As promised, here are three pics of what we achieved last weekend.
This is how far we got on Saturday. A small heap left, but the rest of the soil/sand combination (with tons of tiny roots) had been shuffled away.
This took quite some time and on the border at the back we set each stone a bit lower as there is a slight slope.
Then we inserted the fleece (which is supposed to keep the roots under it, but I somehow doubt that is going to last long ^^;;; ) and added a few stones.
Next weekend we might add the soil/sand again, with removed roots, and then add the stone and some real soil. This depends on how cold it gets.
The plants will have to wait another few months ;-)
