The giraffe likes me!
On Facebook, there is a Rossmann (drugstore in Germany, that sells lots of beauty products) app.
Each week you can use this app to win a product. From Monday to Wednesday you have three chances per day to win the product of the week. Chance = have the giraffe jump against bubbles and when they explode you see if you have won (or not).
I've tried this for the last eight weeks at least and started to have special feelings about said giraffe, because I never ever won something.
This week though, on my third and last chance on Wednesday, I was LUCKY!
The product this week was "Face Finity All Day Flawless 3 in 1 Foundation" by MaxFactor, which usually sells for 13-14 €. It's a primer, foundation and concealer all in one.
So... Step 1 was getting the dumb giraffe to hit the right bubble and thus get the coupon. Step 2 was getting the product itself. I read before on Facebook, that in quite a few stores for very strange reasons the product of the weeks wasn't available for the whole week, no matter at which time/day people showed up in the store.
I figured that chances of something like this happening where bigger in Bremen, than in the city close to Bremen where I'm working atm. I stopped by a Rossmann store, walked to the shelf with the Face Finity stuff and low and behold: they had two bottles left. One in bronze (much too dark for my skin) and one in "natural" (perfect for me!). I grabbed the last bottle of the natural version and felt like a very happy camper!
I'll keep you updated on how good this stuff actually works :-) (considering the fact, that some companies sell similar products for 50€+.... )
