Die Gute Schokoloda - The Change Chocolate

Jun 18, 2012 21:12

Today's topic is chocolate. The Good Chocolate :-)

I've heard about this chocolate today for the first time and by the time I had finished reading through the basic information and finding out it was sold in the following shops: Akzenta, dm Drogeriemarkt, Kaufland, Rewe Dortmund, tegut and Tengelmann Süd. (In Austria it is available at A&O and Nah&Frisch.) it was 7:52 PM.
The dm is just across the street, but I have to get over that damned street first ^^;;; I was there before closing time, asked staff-san where they'd put the chocolate and carried it home :-)

The chocolate is initiated by Plant-For-The-Planet and their intention is to grow 1 billion trees until 2020. (I just wonder... WHERE? Hopefully not directly in the Sahara _._ )
The organisation is (of course) a non-profit one and from every sold chocolate bar (price 1 €) 20 euro cent are used to buy and plant more trees. Five bars equal one tree.

Nice and lovely pic of the two chocolate bars I've bought.

Reverse side. It's got a QR code too.

The inside of the wrapping. Information about the choco and the project.

The cholcolate itself is milk chocolate, made by the Swiss company "Halba". You hear Swiss + choco in one sentence and you assume it has to taste good? It does :-)
