I went into SyFy's new show Alphas a little hesitantly, I'll admit, but it's quickly turned into my Monday night show -- you know...the one I look forward to, get excited about, etc. Alas, that means I now worry about it surviving more than one season. *nervously chews fingernails*

I've been overdosing on Psych lately and have noticed that a lot of people say Mentalist is a Psych rip-off, but I don't really see it. Mentalist is more of a Profiler revamp, with a cool "Psych" twist, which sets it apart from Criminal Minds, which is all about profilers.

And Psych is a lot more fun than Mentalist. ;)

I've recently discovered Psych and am looking for some good fanfic. Anyone recommend anything?

Thanks to Kristen, I was in a John mood this morning, so...Vegas. That led to musing about how the expedition got tangled up with the Wraith in that universe. In main universe, John's gene triggers a device on the necklace that he finds and gives to Teyla, alerting the Wraith to their presence.
