December...
So I thought I would update since, well, I have a bit of time and I need a break from coding my sites.
Since there's not much to update about...at least nothing I'd rather repeat, then I'll write down everything I got for Christmas! <3
What I got:
- A Walk to Remember DVD
- Kronk's New Groove DVD from Mike
- 4 new shirts
- Falling Up CD from Mike
- Ashlee Simpson 'i am me' CD
- Backstreet Boys 'never gone' CD (YAY!)
- Hilary Duff Karaoke CD! hah
- Huge make-up set
- New toothbrush!
- New Deoderant (sp)
- Hair Straightner (sp)
- CD holder box!
- Harry Potter SCENE IT! <3
- Skip-BO!
- Pink Secret CareBear w/ DVD
- A Basketball!
- New Slippers from Mike
- 2 LOVELY books from Stephanie, along with a wicked watch that I'm wearing right now!
- Lots of nail polish (black too!), lip gloss and make-up
- Heated Blanket!
- CUTE green fuzzy blankie
- PopStar Magazine January Edition
- SHEET PROTECTOES! (That was really on my list! ha)
- Hair shampoo and conditioner! (VIVE >> smells great!)
- Bubble BATH! (hah, go us April!)
- A beautiful China set which includes EVERY type of china you can think of from my Grandma!
- And the last thing I can remember is this rock sculpture thingy that my brother Mike got me. It has a cross ingraved and it says "I am the way, the truth, and the life..." I LOVE IT!
I also got money from family. Let's see if I can remember correctly: $150 from my dad, $100 from my Uncle Ralf, $50 from my gramma in Pittsburgh, $25 from my Aunt Kathy, $20 from my Aunt Marianne and I believe that is it. That adds up to $355 total and I have about...$124 left of all of it. Not too bad considering what I got for people. I loved what I got everyone I hope they like the gifts. It was fun to shop and not really have a limit. I mean there's always a limit but for me, I know I'm not planning on buying guitars for people and such. I have an idea what I wanna do with the rest of my money: I'm hoping to save up for new computer parts and also a video camera. Obviously the new computer parts coming first *grin*. Before that though, I'm hoping to go and buy One Tree Hill seasons 1 and 2 on DVD first which will be about $60 if I'm lucky. I don't think I will be that lucky though. Actually I just went to walmart.com and the lowest price I could get them for is $75 rounded. I'm not sure if I get my moms discount that way or not. I really don't know. It's ridiculous though...its only $30 for season 2 but for season 1 its $44! tell me how thats fair?? lol anyways...yeah, after that though, its saving up for computer parts time! I'm hoping by taxes time, my mom will be willing to donate/offer to pay part of the amount for the parts. =D OR...get DSL! lol I think I'd like that better. Righto...

RECOVERY (Written 12-19-05)
Beauty is the snow on the ground
Happiness is the warmth it brings
Love is what I thought we had
Lust is what it ended up being
Beauty breaks and the snow melts
Happiness fades and cold appears
Love is lost and I long for something real
All that was brought to me was tears
Here forms another beauty
One that will not break
For God allows recovery
To those who ache
Thanks for those memories
But you can have them back
Love is something worth waiting for
Happiness has no attack
