I just found out this morning (via LJ of all mediums) that a friend of mine from college, Duncan, passed away. Brain cancer. We were never particularly close, but I always thought he was just awesome. He was always friendly to everyone, and just so much fun to be around. He had this contagious zest for life. My first day of work went really well. The people are very very fun and nice. I also got to do some actual work today too, which was nice. Not a super lot, but I helped work on a presentation the boss is giving tomorrow, and I spent time learning about a project that is going to be almost soley my baby. So it was rather productive.
