Still futzing with the bike and the bike computer. I tried making adjustments and then walking the bike but I absolutely could NOT find the "sweet spot" for the magnet to talk to the receiver. So I ended up going back to the bike shop and begging them to show me. I even brought my own duct tape. This time I put it on with super tight zip ties and tightened up the magnet. Let's hope this does it. I'm sure those guys are getting super sick of me and my whining.
I did a 4 mile walk/run/walk, focussing on making sure the "running" part was really running or at least jogging and also increasing the amount of run time vs walk time. I even stopped for stretching afterwards and took Motrin. As a result of one or both of these, I'm considerably less stiff and sore this AM than I thought I might be.
More fun with technology---our DVD player is acting up. It's extremely erratic as to which disks it deigns to play. And I know it's not dirt on the disks, because the same disks it refuses to recognize are just fine and dandy when I pop them into the lap-top. Hubby says we need a head cleaner. He is going to try and pick one up today.
We were able to watch a documentary about Shaolin Monks doing kungfu and the next disk of Chuck Season 1. Which meant I got to see Kevin Weisman (Marshall from Alias) as a baddie and Matt Bomer proving that he really has an aversion to being completely clean-shaven no matter what character he's playing.
Also got the goddess nails done and eyebrows waxed in preparation for hair-day. Treated myself to an extra 10 minutes foot/leg massage during my pedicure. Maybe that's another reason I'm not so stiff today. I did need to take a nap, however.
