amsterdam update number 3!
HEY FRIENDS! okay so here is number three. yesterday was monday and we headed out late (once again.. but dont worry this morning we were up WAY early not wasting any of the day whatsoever) and we went to this little cafe in the Jordan area and had the best sandwhiches EVER. and coffee, of course. then we went shopping and found some fabulous vintage store called EPISODE and then went shopping in Kalverstraat and went to H&M which was fabulous and i got a shirt and earings. i guess kalverstraat is the busiest shopping street in all of holland, which was cool and um we got some presents for some peeps too. exciting! then we went back to her house for dinner with the family and then we met up with igor once again and by the way we rode holly's bike the entire day and like here if you have two people one sits on the back so i sat on the back and it was pretty much really scary at first but once you get the hang of it's really cute and fun. i was like waving at everyone and i decided to sing some songs and be a radio for our bike. pretty fab huh? their bikes are way diff here though like not your normal bike. dutch bikes. way neat. oh okay so then we got igor and we were going to go ice skating but it closed way early so we decided to do that today instead of last night and then we headed to the RED LIGHT DISTRICT and i def insisted on going in like every porno shop but they didnt want to so we went in one. well okay igor didnt want to. holly and i are gonna go back there and check it out in more detail. but so yeah we walked up and down it and saw the whores and they are def not so hott. i swear three of them were men, i think that's probably false advertisement. but whatevs. they were neat and they winked and waved and danced to get your attention. it was sooooo weird. oh and it was REALLY BUSY. and a lot of guys ask you if you want coke and x when you walk down the street. we found the canabis museum which was neat, then we also found this lovely store that was closed
but if you look in the window you see that sort of bright green? yeah that's about 4 VERY LARGE plants.. as you can see holly is very excited to be seeing it, i was as well. so we walked around and i got some more presents for people and we found about 290384029834 'coffee shops' which is what they call the places where you smoke. duh. but okay so we found this neat bob marley one and igor wasn't keen on it but holly and i INSISTED so we went in and it was real neat with bob marley playing and all over the walls and we had drinks and they brought us a pretty gross bong but it still up FUCKED US UP. okay so here is a pretty picture of holly being the coolest girl i know:
so then we went and walked a long walk but a very nice one and drank and all that jazz, but okay i gotta go now cuz we're going to the anne frank museum. whoo hoo education! gotta throw some of that in there when you are killing your brain cells for a week in amsterdam, you know. by the way i'm not telling you lik ehalf of what i'm doing here so dont think all i'm doing is smoking and drinking and looking at porn. although that is probably the most interesting to me so i am basically just posting that. I MEAN COME ON IT'S LEGAL HERE, HOW COOL IS THAT. okay i love you bye.
