I had a great, nay kick-ass, weekend.  On Saturday Tua and I wrote - I, a sermon and Tua, field notes for class.  Then in mid-afternoon we switched gears and did some garden work.  Tua got the fence halfway up, and I helped a bit, but mostly weeded.  In the evening we had a bonfire with Tua's dad and brothers, and toasted marshmallows and ate s' ( Read more... )

I returned a copy of The Comforting Whirlwind to Dartmouth Library's circulation desk yesterday.  As I was walking down the stairs to meet Tua I passed a man who looked exactly like Bill McKibben. 

I'm at the Dartmouth Library, where for the past two hours I've been looking up an extensive list of books and journal articles I need.  And I get a call number for almost every single one.  And my advisor thought there would be no Bible resources here . . .

I am kicking my bibliography's ass.

I already killed a millipede today, for which I am heartily sorry.  I will be merciful to the ladybug in hopes of atoning.
